How far is the Etap Val d'Europe hotel from the nearby train station. I've read it's only about 6 mins. from this stop into DLP, but just wondered how far the hotel actually was away from the station?

many thanks for any info at all :)

There is an entrance to the rear of the station just next to the hotel. When you pull into Val D'Europe station you can see the Hotel IBIS/Etap signs.

It takes less than 5 minutes to walk :thumbsup2

ooooh thankyou - that sounds perfect. Can I just ask if their are toilet facilites inside the rooms? I know that seems strange, but i just read on another forum that some etap hotels have toilet facilities outside their rooms (and when my little boy has to go, he really has to go ;) )

There is a little cubicle in the room a bit like a steam room type thing (its plastic and moulded - not real walls) with a toilet in it and there is a separate shower cubicle. Although it is very basic we found it very clean when we stayed in January and as we spent most of our time at the parks it was just great for us and excellent value for money : :thumbsup2

Make sure you get the correct exit at the train station! If you go to the main exit you can get lost very easily (trust me!!!!)

There are exits at both ends of the platform. One takes you at at the shopping center and looks very busy, the other is much smaller and brings you out at next to the Ibis and Etap Hotels.

I stayed in the Ibis (next door to the etap) and it was an excellent base. Both of the hotels are new and although basic are excellent value. They also keep their rates low in the summer so are excellent for a peak season trip!

thanks for the information ladies, :flower3: Can I assume then that heading to the parks from val d'europe station, is much easier to navigate?

I'm a man pirate:

It's easy to navigate, just make sure you board a train in the Direction of Marne La Vallee Chessy. It's the next station on the line and takes about 3 minutes.

Does anyone know the cost of the train ticket from Etap/Ibis to Disney?
I'm trying to decided if we'll drive to the park (and pay for parking there) or take the train.

I've read that it's only €1,45 single for an adult and half that for kids

You can't miss it from the station. Village is to your left as you come out, Studios straight ahead and Disneyland to your right.

Everything is very well signposted adn the corwds will help you!
