Estimating tolls for Sunpass

I'm in the middle of purchasing a Sunpass transponder online. I need help figuring out the funding amount.

We are looking at a round trip from MCO to WDW and also a round trip from WDW to Port Canaveral.
We plan on using 417 as much as possible.

Would the $10 minimum amount suffice or would $15 be better?

TIA as always.

between the airport (and 417 interchange) at PC there are two $1 tolls when you pay cash. You get a small discount with the pass.

between WDW and the south airport entrance there are two $1.50 tolls IF you use the most economical route ... but there are OTHER routes where you can encounter additional tolls. It depends on which exit you use to get into WDW property . . .

Easiest plan IMO is to use the automatic replenish feature of Sunpass.

Load the APP on your phone and you can monitor activity and account balance ... my transactions are usually listed in minutes . . .

For those two trips I don't think $10 will quite cover it, but $15 should if you use International Drive for your Disney exit. If you use Osceola Parkway then you might need just over $15. The toll calculator above does not do FL 417. I use this one:

Intl Dr - Airport is $5.48 roundtrip
Intl Dr - Beachline is also $5.48 roundtrip plus the Beachline section $3.26 roundtrip = $8.74.
That's $14.22 so just under $15.

If you use Osceola Parkway as your Disney exit it will tip over $15.

In Central Florida there are mainline tolls and some, but not all, exits have tolls. Mainline tolls are set up with the main lanes going straight through the high speed sunpass or toll-by-plate sensors. You must exit to the toll barrier to pay cash and re-merge with the main lanes. Sometimes there is a line to get through the toll booth and only one lane is open.

There are several exits in the Orlando area, including the heavily used Osceola Parkway exit, Osceola Parkway's own exits, and a full stretch of highway northwest of Tampa that require cash or Sunpass.

You can avoid the need for Sunpass if you don't drive often. If you drive there often, or rent a car often, a portable Sunpass is invaluable. Tolls are discounted and you avoid outrageous add-on fees from rental car companies.
