I did mine a few weeks ago and I only got an email from them saying they were being processed and I got my application number. They did take the money from my credit card but I was wondering if I'm supposed to receive anything else from them, like a confirmation of some sort?

We never got confirmations for our - if you visit the page again with your passport details, dob, etc there is an option to check on the progress. The last time we did it DH got his immediately, and DD10 took 3 days!

Ours were instant so didn't receive an email -I just printed the details off directly from the website. Put your application numbers in, and you should find that they have been approved.

Did mine last week for a work trip in October and was approved on the spot. Maybe because I was 'renewing' so to speak? Might be a day or two for new applications?

I did mine last Monday. At first it said "authorisation pending" and I wondered if it was because it was a Sunday in the US. I then promptly forgot about it!

After reading this thread I went and checked all approved.

I just checked all ours to make sure they are still valid. Easy to do on the website if you have your passport no., name and date of birth
