I will be going to the Essex/Old Saybrook area of Conn, can anyone tell me any kid friendly spots for meals?? We also wil be stoping in Groton. Thanks

If you are stopping in Groton, go to see the Nautilas. It is really interesting to see the submarine museum and be able to go into a real nuclear submarine. Sorry, I can't suggest any special restaurants there.
