So simple, it should have been obvious. I'm glad you had your thinking cap on, the rest of us were making it harder than it needed to be.

There is a small chance of them asking to see what is in your pocket, but only if it is obviously full.

I hadn't even thought about glass in the parks. I brought a tiny roller bottle of MotionEaze into the parks and was never questioned about it. Might be different if you have a few bottles but I doubt they'll second glance one tiny bottle. I did have mine in a ziplock bag, not sure if it made a difference.

i never would have thought about this since i'm so used to just carrying oils in my bag. I don't usually carry many, and my roller bottles do look just like roll-on perfume since i prefer to make my own diluted synergies. I'm glad i read this thread, so I can be prepared!

I have never felt compelled to get involved in these ridiculous topics but this is just too much for me!! It's a little bottle of oil you probably place in your makeup bag or
Purse! It's not a liquor bottle, beer bottle or some other hazardous waste or dangerous material that will cause harm. Life is not always black-and-white some people are too literal! my Mac make up comes in a glass bottle, stays in my purse and I never thought twice prior to reading this post that I would've been breaking the rules.. come on people, lighten up. Now let's talk disney! Let's plan something, talk about disney strategy..or wether you feel I should have my 8 yr old in a stroller.. hehe

It is not about "lightening up". Disney's rules are in black and white. And it is best to tell people what the rules are, and then let them decide if they want to try and get around them or not. Maybe security will turn a blind eye to the small bottles. Or maybe they will tell the owner they have to be thrown out. We can't say for sure. But it is best to tell people what the rules are, and let them decide for themselves what to do from there. I wouldn't want to assure someone it will be ok, and then have them angry that they had to throw something out before being allowed into the parks.

I find it "ridiculous" to assume a rule applies to everyone else but me. To assume that my small bottle could magically get in when someone else's won't. I know when I was at the parks a few weeks ago, security was using small flashlights and looking deep into guest's bags. It wasn't just a quick glance and you were on your way. Who knows if they would grab a small glass bottle and confiscate it. But according to their rules, they should.

I agree that you can only tell people the rules and allow them to make up their own minds, we should all be using our common sense but sometimes people put issues and topics out there and it turns ugly.
Comments directed at people like "I don't know why people seem to think rules don't apply to them" and other condescending things are just unnecessary, rude, easy because your hiding behind a keyboard and in real life would you be disrespectful to their face??... To the original poster, glass bottles are not allowed, case closed.

how would my flask of wine hurt anyone? I take it for medicinal purposes at the recommendation of my physician? Its not the contents of the bottle but the bottle itself that causes the issue.
I hope you dont run into the security guard we had our last day at hollywood studio. He had dh open even zippered compartment in his camera bag and looked into it. even the mesh one that holds memory cards.

I use Doterra oils and have the small key chain holder that holds 8 or so sample bottles. it goes everywhere with me including into Disney. If they look in my bag, all they see is a cloth container. If I got someone who made me open it and I had to throw the bottles away, it wouldn't be the end of the world. With that said, I've gone into DL with this probably over a dozen times with not a blink of the eye. It would also fit nicely in my pocket if need be.

Just an FYI...We were at Disney Dec 14-20th, I brought 3 different bottles, everyday, to the parks. Yes, they were seen by security during bag check and no they did not say anything about them. We were at Epcot, Hollywood Studios and Magic Kingdom 3 different days. I did not try to hide them, they were clearly visible.

The Lavendar and Peace & Calming were a relief at the end of the day with our rambunctious and overstimulated 3 yr old.

They sell a small plastic Thieves spray. I took that with me. I've read in the past that you can re-use them with other oils too.
