From the DCL website:I have heard in the past that people have brought on essential oils, but I read on the prohibited item list on the DCL website, diffusers are not allowed?
I was planning on bringing mine, should I not?
People who wear strong perfume/cologne can set off an allergy or asthma issue in others, so that is just not a legitimate argument;
You should be prepared to pay the fee for cleaning the room to remove the residue from the diffuser.You can get travel diffusers that actually have a USB plug on them, and it will not fall into the prohibited electrical item category. I’ve taken one on every cruise for the last 3 years and had no issues whatsoever. I always have it in my carry on bag. Is that lack of odor to do with essential oils not leaving a lingering smell or with a stateroom host having to take an extra hour on a single room to get rid of the essential oil residue?
Very true. And when one of them sits near me in church or the food court or anywhere, I have to move. I can not do it. OMG, please don’t! Anyone with allergies or asthma who occupy your stateroom after you could have dire consequences.
