Essential and/or odd things that you pack?

We need to always take something for tummy problems.. I couldn't work out why until on our last trip I learnt that their coke for example is made with corn syrup and ours is made with sugar cane and most of there food is corn based. Corn is our problem. My daughters always take a big supply of Libra products as they state the ones in the states are not as good. I always also take a small supply of over the counter medicines we may need. There is nothing worse than having to find a pharmacy as soon as you have stepped off a plane in a foreign country. We always take enough to tide us over till we find one.
