Essence of Disney beading Projects

I would like to make my daughters 3 and 5 some beaded necklaces and bracelets. Due to their age nothing expensive, just fun and with a Disney flair. I have many beads and thought something with the colors red, yellow, black and white??? I have crystals, glass beads, furnace glass, lots of spacers/accent pieces etc. Has anyone made anything like this they would be willing to share pics of, or any disney type necklace or bracelet bead project they would be willing to share?

I tried something on my own and it seems that mickey head has a design flaw. It's bottom heavy? So how can I get mickesy head to stop falling down? HELP!!!!

I'd finish the necklace and see if it does that when wearing it. As a necklace, I'm thinking the way it falls on your chest will prevent it from flipping over. As a bracelet, it will always be under your wrist due to the weight.

it is for my kids, they are decendents of tigger and bounce a lot, there is no way it would lay flat

i didnt even think about how the bracelet would roll under - thanks for the heads up on that one

hmm looks like the mickey head beads will not be used for jewelry after all??

Do you think on maybe putting down wire around the Mickey like wrappin of some sort with wire, then adding a jumpring to that , so that the mickey hangs from one of the ears inclined; or maybe if you do someting with wire to the mickey you can end the wire in a loop to hang from the necklace; ok maybe Im babbling because I had the ideas in my mind but don't know how to describe them..I do make jewelry and use wire a lot but since I dont had formal trainning don't know how to put it in words ufff....

AHHHH, no i get it, I will try using wire, I've only moved it around my beading box about 3 times trying to come up with something.

What does everyone use the Disney beads for? I am interested in using them, but didn't know of ideas other than jewelry....am new to beading.
