Espresso Machine

DH is turning the big 3-0 next week, and I wanted to get him something he would love. He has been wanting a good espresso maker for a while now, we had a Melitta cheap one we got for our wedding and he used it all the time until he broke the carafe!

Does anyone know of a good Espresso Maker in the $100-250 range? Not looking for one that makes coffee too, as he already has a very nice coffee maker.

i use the old fashioned, cheapo stove top version... it's about $8 in wal-mart... i swear by it and use it at least every day. i hope someone has a better suggestion for you!

I bought a $25 one that even steams milk(By Mister Coffee) at walmart and LOVE It. However if you;re looking for any higher end machine, I can reccomend... A Bosch Barino, A La Pavoni Espresso si (you'll find this in many Starbucks), And the Saeco Black, allows you to brew demitasse I hope this former bartista's limited knoweledge helps.
