Just wondering if anyone has eaten at ESPN with the dining package? We are leaving this week and are planning to eat there before the Illuminations show? Any tips or advice. We have a total of 6 and 5 out of the 6 have adult plans because of age ds 13, ds17.

We were trying to decide between Spoodles and Espn but thought ESPN might be more relaxed with a 7 and 8 yo. Personally, without kids, their would be no contest but I'm thinking the kids can eat what they like and we can down a few

Well, I wasn't finished yet....

We could down a few :drinking1 :drinking1 :drinking1

I don't think it's the best value on the dining plan but it might be a relaxing choice.

My whole family enjoys this restaurant and part of this is because it is not too expensive from what I remember. There may be expensive items somewhere on the list but there are plenty that are not. For this reason I don't think it would be a good value. I'd rather go somewhere more expensive to use the dining plan and just pay for my meal at ESPN - and I would go! It makes my husband happy to see so many sports shows at the same time, my kids are happy with the playstations at the booths and I'm happy with the good food! ::MinnieMo

I don't think the Playstations cost anything, if I remember correctly. I think we just had to give them our drivers license until we turned the controllers in when we left. The food was so-so, but it was nice to zone out on the Playstations. :teeth:

We ate there Monday. We really liked it. We had the burger with swiss & bacon, the wrap, and the ruben. They were all delicious. We also had the hot dingers, mild wings, and the nachos. The nachos were the Best! For dessert we had 2 hockey pucks (brownie with ice cream) and key lime pie. The pie was so good!

My DD and I eat there every trip. We initially went to soothe my DH's addiction to all things sports, but found we also enjoyed it! She and I keep going there, even though DH hasn't traveled with us in years!

We've gotten the nachos, bacon cheeseburger, curly fries (yum!), chicken fingers (for DD-the basic), wraps, the club sandwich, and a few others that I can't recall.

Everything was fine, perhaps a notch above basic pub grub. We just really like the sports atmosphere, and the casual nature. I'd agree that if you are looking for fine dining, this ain't it! But if you want a decent burger, great fries, and to score a few points with a sports nut in your family, then this is the place to go.
