Ok. This may seem crazy, but we will be in WDW in October during football season. Now we are from NY and are die-hard jets fans. If we went to ESPN Zone to watch the game should we make ADRs? Is the place usually packed for football games? We would most likely have to stop our day to catch the game. I dont think missing it is an option lol

The ESPN Club does not take reservations. It's first come, first served only.

This past December when I went to the ESPN Club on three of those nights they were showing the Browns vs Steelers, Giants vs Cowboys and Cowboys vs Buccaneers. Now I had gone well after those games had started and never had problems sitting at their tables/booths in the bar area for the Browns vs Steelers and Giants vs Cowboys games without waiting. The only time I had a 5 - 10 minute wait for a table in their dining room was during the Cowboys vs Buccaneers game, however another reason for that was because that was on a Saturday night.

As Nala said, the do not take ADR's.
They are very busy during football season. Sunday afternoon/evenings are crazy.
If the Jets are the 1 PM game, I would get there shortly after 12. I have seen lines that are pretty long for the Sunday games.
If they are the 4 PM game, I am pretty sure you will have to wait for a table.

CR likes to say that there is always seating in the bar. But that is not correct.
Although the tables and booths in the bar are "open seating", they too fill up and folks linger to watch their game. I have experienced ESPN when there were 2 lines, one for the dining room and a second for the lounge.
Enjoy

Who are the Jets playing? If it's just another run of the mill game, you will have a better chance of no problems.

Trying to figure out which football game will matter in October when it's late February is like saying who will win the Best Actress Academy Award at the 84th ceremony the day before the show.

The NFL Sched. isnt out yet but it doesnt really matter who they are playing, I dont miss a game, plus with only 16 games a season, they all matter. Looks like i'll have to wait until the sched. is released to figure it all out.

My husband was bummed to find out we didn't have the NFL Network in our room and he *really* wanted to watch Thursday Night Football...the Broncos were playing in the beginning craze of "Tebow Time". I logged on to the Dis to make sure the ESPN Zone was showing the NFL network :rotfl:

I cancelled our 50s Prime Time dinner ADR and we got to the ESPN Zone at 7:05 p.m. (game started at 8:00 p.m.) We waited about 20 minutes and then a server took us to a table down front right in front of the HUUUUGE tv. My DH was in heaven that night!!!

If you read what I previously said I just mentioned my experiences going there during the late stages of the 4th quater of two games where one night I got a table and the other night I got a booth in the bar area without waiting. The first time was on a Thursday night when the Browns were playing the Steelers and the other time was on a Sunday night when the Giants were playing the Cowboys.

And the Jets may very well be on a bye that week.

Well heck, if your a Jets fan you dont have to worry. Rex will guarantee a spot in the championship again so just plan on waiting until the Superbowl. I kid, I kid...:lmao::lmao:
