ESPN - Good night to go?

I'm thinking about surprising my football-loving DH with dinner at ESPN (not my style, but he'll like it). We can't go on a Monday night, so is there another night that would be good to go? I'm not into football at all, so not sure if there are games other than on Monday???

There are usually Sunday night football games and sometimes on Thursday night.

we will be in WDW over thanksgiving and will miss 2, count them 2 football games from our world champion PATRIOTS!!! yeah pats! Will ESPN, show the games on their tv's do you think?

There is also college football on most nights.

If there is something you want to see, if it's not pn one of the overhead TVs ask. they can put it on for you. If you can get a booth, the can put most things on there. We watch REAL football (soccer) there on most trips.

Anyone have a feel on Saturday afternoon crowds during College football season? We'll be in Epcot Saturday September 21. We're season ticket holders for PSU football (but it's one game I'm happy to miss!) and wanted to drop over for some food while watching the second half of the PSU game. Can one just "drop over" during college football season?

I don't have any info about ESPN, but I had to post to a fellow PSU season ticket holder!!

We'll be at Disney for the Illinois game. I was shocked that my husband agreed to go then. He "wisely" decided to plan the trip around our kids school schedule and not the PSU football schedule. Hopefully, PSU will have a better year.

Have fun at Disney! I can't wait.

My wife knows the only sure fire way to get me away from Beaver Stadium during the fall is to put me in Orlando. Last years, we we watched the upset of Ohio State from the bar at Marriott Village @ Lake Bryan. I'm hoping we're starting a trend: they can't loose when I'm near WDW. Pixie Dust, maybe?

Have a good trip in November and remember: We're 1-0!

is a good time to go to the ESPN Club. We tried to go for NFL Sundays down in Orlando and there was a two hour wait.

Did not have a wait at all on Saturday. Nothing like watching a Michigan game at the ESPN club in WDW if you cannot make it to the Big House.

For all you PSU fans...see you on Oct. 12.

Hey Big Daddy,

Out here in Central PA, we're Penn State Proud, but we're also Penn State Practical. We'll look forward to visiting the Big House, but after the last two years, October 11 seems a long way away....with any luck, I'll watch the 2-0 Nits play Lousiana Tech from the ESPN Club on the 21st. But first we've got that pesky Nebraska. May we both be undefeated on Oct. 12...

I like that, Penn State Practical. Oh, it's hard to be humble, but these last few seasons have been a challenge. Our newest quest is the PSU McDonald's toys. I have a feeling we'll be stopping in every McDonald's on the way to the Nebraska game. Normally my husband won't stop the car for anything, but he wants those toys so here we go.

From what my husband has seen on the PSU boards that he visits, there is a Nittany Lion bobblehead doll avaiable at the McDonald's in central PA. It's $6.00 with any purchase. Not exactly a bargain, but what is?? Someone posted a picture of it and it's really cute. People have reported getting them at McDonald's from Altoona to Lancaster. Now it concerns me that you're in State College and don't know about these - I would think it would be a big deal. Hopefully it's not just a ploy to get us to go to McDonald's!! I asked about them and it Pittsburgh and got a very blank stare from the woman behind the counter. Let me know if you see one!!
