Escape Worries

Im very new to this but very excited to (soon, hopefully) be a disney bride. My fiance and I were planning a destination wedding in Negril, Jamaica with just a few close family members and having a big reception back here in WV. We qualified for a "free" wedding which turned out not so free in the end. After a lot of frantic number crunching and phone calls, we decided to look into a disney wedding. We looked at the Escape collection and it sounded exactly like what we needed. I've always wanted a disney wedding!

So with that I need some advice if possible. We are interested in the WP on June 2nd. I know that with the escape collection, you can only hold the date 8 months ahead of time, and when I spoke with my wedding planner, there was already one timeslot filled in that day. We don't mind moving the date to the 1st or 3rd, but I'm worried that those days will also become booked, and I'll have to yet again find a new wedding destination. I just didnt know if June was a busy wedding month.

First of all congratulations and welcome!

It can be nerve-racking waiting for the eight month mark to come around but as you've already indicated that you're flexible with your date (and time?) then I'm sure you'll get your WP wedding!

Should a wishes wedding come along before the 8 month mark then they will take priority, if another Escape couple want your date and time then you and that couple or couples will be entered into a lottery and the couple picked will get the date/time/venue and the other couples offered alternatives.

Try not to worry too much Disney will work with you so you get a date/time and venue that are suitable

If you are flexible with 3 dates and with there being 4 slots a day i'm sure you'll be able to get the WP.

Also the slot that's gone may come back available, it did for me.
