escape wedding question?

Ok, we did our wedding 10 years back, and there were different options, custom and intimate.


Can escape wedding/VR wear there wedding dresses for a dessert party? like at epcot or fantasmic? back in the day intimate brides couldn't so of course I'm wondering since I saw an old escape bride 09 with a wedding dress at illuminations.

Anyone know how late they do weddings at the YCG like on a tuesday. with this possible DP option in a wedding dress, thinking later in the day wedding might be nice? Anyone know if 5 or 6 pm even exist for a wedding start time?

Hi! I'm pretty sure some of the more experienced brides on here will be able to help you better than me.. but I'll give it a go!

Ceremonies at the YCG can be held at 10:00 a.m., 12:00 p.m., 2:30 p.m. or 5:00pm, so hopefully that last time slot will suit you.

You cannot wear your wedding dress into the parks, however I think I've read about there being an exception to this for receptions/DPs organised through DFTW, Something like it's okay if you're escorted by a CM directly to your DP location, or have transport booked to take you directly there rather than wandering around inside the park?

Yes escape brides can have a DP in the park and wear their wedding dress. Booking a private event when you have an escape wedding triggers a $7500 minimum spend though which the escape package counts towards.

Yep, you can have a DP and wear your attire as an Escape bride! I had mine 3 weeks ago, and nobody even walked us out at the end...they were going to escort us to the International Gateway but my DH said that the main entrance worked best for us so they just waved us goodbye It's a long walk in a big dress!
