Escape Wedding & Hotel Stay Requirements

I was reading the Disney weddings site for an Escape wedding, and it says a hotel stay of 4 nights is required. (This was after my shock to see the price went up dramatically to $4k!!) Anyway, is that 4 night stay only required for the bride/groom, or everyone attending the wedding? Being a DVC owner I was going to use my points for the hotels to save everyone money.

I know for the Wishes weddings you can use your DVC reservations to count towards the minimums. I can't imagine it would be different for the Escape weddings... You just give them your DVC Reservation Number, and you're good to go.

It's not 4 nights per person, just for the Bride and Groom.

Yep you can book your room any way you'd like, DFTW just needs the confirmation # for your Escape wedding. You have 4 days I think to make your room reservation and provide the confirmation. DVC reservations definitely count.

The Escape wedding stay requirement is for only the bride and groom. As others have said your DVC ressie will count towards that requirement.
