Wally - for me - bring a nice glass of wine or a bottle ( you can bring them on board with you) and order the cheese platter.. it really is a plate of cheese pieces and a few grapes and you and your SO can have a glass of wine and cheese and watch the water looking for dolphins..

I've got some great italian reds in my wine rack right now.
I'm more into italian wine than french.

I'm in full food and beverage so that means i'll be working in a TS restaraunt as a hostess or wherever they need me. I'm not sure which one yet because they don't tell me till I get there! I'm leaving on Jan. 9th to drive to Orlando. It should take about four days. I'm bringing a friend and we're going to run around at the parks for a bit; she's never been so that should be fun. And then my program starts on Jan. 21st. I already found one of my roomies I'm not sure which complex i'll be at but I have my heart set on Chatham. I can't wait!

How fun. You will have to let us know!! If you do service, do you keep the tips??? My dd still wants to work for Disney one day. Keep me posted on your program. She graduates in May but is still interested.

SLO, I actually took Bonine for a few days after the trip to let my body adjust. I didn't have that feeling of the earth moving but i have heard some do. ugh. How horrible!

Wally, we brought a couple of bottles along and ended up bringing two of them home. We kept getting the same drink all day. Gosh can't remember the name but it was sooooo yummy!

Off to bring cupcakes to the school. Lauren is celebrating number 9 on Saturday. I just had my eldest turn 21 yesterday. wow. I am old....

Wallyb---I'm so excited for you on the timer.

Danauk--- the science museum has to go on my list when we finally go overseas again. I miss going to the Smithosian museums on a whim (grew up in MD/lived in VA for little over a year).

NC Beast has caught a nasty cold/virus---he had to call in sick which is very unusual for him (last time he used sick days was 6 years ago).

FIL is still not doing well. He has pneumonia and has to make some decisions soon on his next phase of treatments. He may be starting chemo soon.

I hope December will be a better month for us. I'm looking foward to spending time with our youngest niece in little over a week and half.

Wally - Yes, we sailed The Magic last October. It was great, and I enjoyed every day except the day I was in bed sick with sea sickness But even that day wasn't completely terrible, because it was nice knowing that the kids were having fun in their clubs, and I had some peace and quiet in the room.

Just started laying things out - next - the putting things back- I alway start with too much.

Stella goes up to her deluxe doggy dude ranch in new Hampshire.
She likes it up there - it's on a farm - she get lot of attention - they only take 10 dogs - and lots of play time.
And I STILL worry about her!

Morning Taglikins. I have a quiet morning to myself, while Peg & Pam (sister-in-law) go hiking this morning. Then I'll grab lunch supplies and meet them at Peg's house later on. Today we will go see "Twilight" and tonight to some club Peg knows to hear music. We're having a very nice mini-vacation.

There's a place around here like that - it's called Auntee Barbara's. I don't take my dog there, but my in-laws do, and they love it!!!! My mom took Sophie while we were gone, and it worked out very well

Slo, yes I read all four of the books as has Peg. We took my sister in law who has not read the books. SIL enjoyed the movie and thanked us for taking her, as she probably wouldn't have gone to see it on her own. Peg and I were both pretty pleased with the treatment. I had had some reservations about the casting, (especially Edward), but everone did a fine job. I'm glad I read all four books first, as I can still have my vision of the characters...if you see the movie first, these actors are who you will picture in your head as you read. And, of course, any book is usually 'richer' than it's movie version. I've read that pretty much everbody is signed on for the movie of book 2 and 3.

Well the weather has turned quite chilly here at the moment, we might get snow tomorrow (my parents had some this morning and they are 2 hours north of us.)

Slo Have fun putting the tree up, I think I will begin to put ours up next weekend, the process might take a few days though!!

ibouncetoo I haven't heard of that movie or book, but might check it out. I am waiting for Angels and Demons to be finished (they were filming it when we went to the studios in Hollywood so it will be a while yet!) as I really enjoyed that book, more so than the Da Vinci code.

Well this afternoon we are driving up to my parents for a family meal. My auntie and uncle are going to Australia for christmas to see other relatives so we are having an early christmas dinner! I guess I should get a move on as we need to go in half an hour!

Just posting to say Hello, been offline for a few days; this time of year gets me because I lost my mom this time of year when i was stationed over in Germany at the ripe old age of 19. We were really close but I'm feeling better now.
