Today is my phone planning session...what are some of the things you discussed?

Any advice on things I should be talking about?

How long does the call last???

Although I have pages of information that I want to discuss...I just feel like I am forgetting something...

I'm curious too as I will most likely have a phone planning session too. We're planning a VR for April 2011.

I would relax a little this is just the start of your conversation with your Escape coordinator. While this is the most inportant call they are very experienced at this and they will walk you through it all, that is why you are paying DFTW for there assistance, advice and organization. Remember they will have some objectives to go over too and they want to get to know what you would like for you wedding. Let them lead the conversation and then if you get to the end and you have not covered something on the pages of information you have then adresses them at that time. If your think of something after the call or later you will be able to e-mail. Don't think that you have to have everything accomplished at this initial call.

Being prepared with your cake design, flavors, floral ideas, photography options along with any extra photo shoots like the Park Bridal Shoots or Trash the Dress. Try to know your "numbers" and if you want extra champagne, juice, soda to be BOC (billed on consumption) at the Cake Cutting. They will ask you things like who will be giving the toast, who will be walking you down the aisle, your music selection etc. If you haven't gotten this far yet, you will have all this sent to you after the first phone call. We have Kathleen Reynolds and she has been wonderful! She is very prompt with responses and is a veteran planner. However, any Disney Planner will know what to do, so you will be in great hands! Being organized and knowing what you want will help out the best throughout the process. You can add any "Welcome Gifts" to your floral package, so it's all in one bill-scary, but very helpful & strees free. Rosie will most likely be your contact for that, but copy your Planner on the emails.
As you get your Guests' reservations pass them onto the Planner so that they can schedule the wedding day transportation.

It went well!!!

I let Tanis take the lead and then she asked if I had any questions..but she had answered most of them...so I asked what was left...

So here is a list of the things that we accomplished...
updating the site on our paragraph (which really went to Michelle)
adding a room block (also Michelle)
extra hour on limo
a van for transportation of guest
cutting the cake and champagne celebration out from Commander's Terrace
schedule of events
cost of laying aisle runner
staged exit
having AV set up for my nephew to sing a song
cake flavors and style
bar package
discussing changing my reservation from AK to a resort that wouldn't require so much travel time
decor for WP
decor for SC
tables (sweetheart, guestbook, cake, and rounds for guest)
a great dinner for me and df
and a nice dinner for my guest (I know this my not be to the likes of all but if the guest list gets smaller then maybe we can think about lobster for all)...


then I emailed Tanis my insipration pix which she forwarded to Rosie...


I should get my first BEO November the earliest and I won't hair from Rosie until Mid October...

This is probably more than you wanted to know, but I just wanted to tell you all thanks so very much for the help and answering my questions...

I tried to answer thoroughly since I thought I would have started a PJ and never got around to one...at least I have on thorough answer which I hope can help any other brides....

the cake...well I sent her the image of the cake that I want it will be two tiers..if you want to see a picture I will post


WP decor...very minimal...aisle runner...being ordered from another company which disney will lay for a fee...

Nikisha- I would love to see your inspirations! We are just getting started with our planning-I have an appt to talk to a wedding sales consultant this afternoon, but I really haven't even got any ideas about flowers, themes, colors etc.

Linda-I love some of the flower pictures you posted in your pj! Especially the 3rd one down.
