Saw this on Twitter just a couple of minutes ago.

I'm not sure I'd wait 7 1/2 hours for any ride. That's New Years Eve type numbers. On another message board, they said, Gringotts was running smoothly, but at 1/2 capacity. It looks like for the next couple of months, Universal may have it's A&E.

Don't worry too much, you know how these ride signs tend to exaggerate. It's probably no more than 400 minutes.

400 minutes? You realize that is 6 hours still right? Lol uh no thank you. I'm not gunna pay them to wait in line all day long.

The waits are not all that surprising. It has been a long , Highly anticipated wait for Diagon alley and Gringotts.People have tried to plan their trips to be there for opening time.It is also PEAK summer crowds right now..Those 2 combined with the fact that Gringotts hasn't been operating at full capacityand breaking down are driving wait times..Makes me glad I am not going till Jan 2015..Hopefully the bugs will be fixed and the crowds not as bad

Yep, we were there. I have some photos of Gringotts outside extended queue.

Yeah, I don't think I would. Maybe an hour. But I guess I'm spoiled from visiting in the off season. One of the perks of homeschooling.

We are glad for US and their success but it is offputting to think about taking a trip there for the next couple of years as their popularity soars....unfortunately. :worried:

Okay, time to get serious for a moment. I rode Gringotts this morning, without early entry, and total time at the ride from entry to exit was about 150 minutes. The posted wait time was 210 minutes. So it was tough, especially in the July weather, but nothing like the mind-numbing wait times we've been hearing about.

I would say that it is essential for day guests to enter USF 60 minutes ahead of the official opening time. Queue up at the barricades near Schwab's Pharmacy and wait to be allowed to proceed to the London facade and into Diagon Alley. Today, for example, the barricades were pulled away at around 7:45 a.m. and the crowd walked briskly to London. (No sign of the timed-ticket kiosks, by the way; maybe they were activated later.) We entered the ride's extended queue, endured a few anxious minutes of ride downtime, and before 10:30 we were on the ride. Incidentally, Gringotts seems to have sucked all the air out of the other attractions -- the train, which also has a colossal queue area, had very few riders, and similarly Ollivanders had almost no takers. For now, at least, Gringotts is where it's at.

thank you so much for you post. i love it when people post their wait time because none of the wait time apps seem to be accurate. I'm curiouse beside right in the morning what other time is a good time to ride gringotts because i of course have to ride more than once! will you please post other times the ride time are reasonable

I wonder if that is a record? LOL I have not seen this yet but I take it fast pass by staying onsite does not apply to the new Potter areas?
