Escape free annual passes

Can the annual passes for bride and groom begin before the wedding actually happens? For example, if we arrive on Friday, but don't get married until Wednesday, can we use the passes for the Friday-Tuesday leading up to the wedding as well?

I believe they are mailed before the wedding (not sure the exact date, if it is at the deposit or final payment.) I've read more than a few PJ where the couple "activated" the AP before the big day.

Hopefully someone will have the actual date

They can be activated as soon as you get them. I'm actually using my annual pass for both my PS and the wedding. My PS is in a week and my wedding is in September. We know we probably won't be able to make it to Disney again before the annual passes expire so we are making the most of it.

I received my passes in the mail when a copy of my LOA was sent back to me completely signed. You can use them as soon as you get them.

I'm sorry, but this post just made me go "huh???!!" We are looking into an Escape wedding for fall 2011 and I didn't see anything on the website regarding annual passes being included. Could someone please fill me in on this or at least point in the right direction?

I had the same question before so I totally understand your confusion. While not listed anymore, you still get 2 annual passes. Maybe they have removed it to be a surprise now, but I can't find it on the site anymore either.

Yeah,

You get 2 annual passes. If you email me, I can send you the package they sent me. It's mostly the same as the info they have posted on the website, but there are a few extra details.

We got AP vouchers that we exchanged for tickets at Guest Relations. We went into epcot on the Sunday and got married on the Sunday so no problem using them before the wedding day. You can also exchange them at the Guest Relations places at DTD.

Not sure if it is useful info for you but we got the Tables in Wonderland dining card at the same time which saved us quite a bit of money.

I'm new to the concept of the TiW...do we need to buy two or can we just get one for the couple/group?

One TIW card is good for up to 10 people, and sometimes the servers will let you apply it to even larger groups (if they're feeling generous). So you most likely don't need two.

i've seen and heard about the escape APs - do they do that for wishes? i haven't seen it or read anyone talking about it... kind of a shame - seeing as how you actually "spend" more with wishes.... makes the escape (and adding extra guets if need be) kind of even a better deal!!

I believe you do get them for a Wishes wedding too.
