Escape cake options thread

Does anyone have a link to the pictures of the Escape cake options posted on here a while back? I think Lurkyloo posted but i'm not sure - I've done a search but can't find it.

i'm sure Lurky posted a photo of someone holding one of the cakes. i wanted to show my OH how big the cakes are as he thinks we will need another layer.

Hiya! I got a picture of a real live escape cake being ferried out to DISer Lorelai's wedding, and I also have some of the model Escape cakes at BoardWalk Bakery> The standard 2-tier cake feeds at least 30 people (and can go as high as 50), if that helps....

I just realized that Lorelia's cake had silver mickeys and a gold plate...hmmmm...did she request it that way??? (Just curious...I always saw them with coordinating colors...)

Yes, I believe she requested this, since her colors were lavender and silver.

Tight...but the plate or what ever it is on on is gold...the gold plate is what I was curious about...

Ooooh - got it! I don't think you have any choice of plate - gold seems to be the standard at all the bakeries. But you might ask about a silver one, cuz you never know what they can get for you!

Those are the cakes that are included in the package - no extra charge.

I love the photos Carrie took of the cakes in the bakery - it shows them somuch better than in the planning literature! I love seeing my cake (Art Deco) with its true rich colour!
