First things first I would just like to say I'm a newbie on the these threads and any questions I ask are behalf of my niece! She is planning to get married at the WP in a couple of years and it is looking more and more likely that she will end up having an escape package. Basically one of the very first questions we would like an answer to is basically she would love to have Mickey and Minnie make an appearance partly for her little girl, partly for herself
and we were just wondering how that would work as she thinks her reception will be at at the Polynesian Luau and therefore the characters would need to show up at either the WP (after the ceremony) or at the 1hr champagne/cake cutting reception at the GF. Is there room for characters in the patio area they provide at the GF or would it be a bit of a squash, have any of you lovely ladies had the characters make an appearance there? What would be the other option? do they allow them to show up after the ceremony at the WP or isn't there enough time? Sorry about the rambling but she is trying to plan the timescale of things and also keep down costs (hence the Luau reception and not private dining option) but she doesn't want everything to feel rushed or cramped.
