error when linking ADR to ressie?

I just booked my trip in March (121 days out) and wanted to make my ADRs but got this message:

"Please continue to search and book available dining locations online without associating your dining plan. We were unable to link your Resort reservation to dining reservations.

Note: For pre-paid locations (Cinderellas Royal Table, Disneys Spirit of Aloha Dinner Show, Hoop-Dee-Doo Musical Revue, Mickeys Backyard BBQ) or if you are trying to book more than 180 days in advance, please call Disney Dining at (407) 939-3463."

Has anyone seen this before and know why I can't link my resort reservation (which has a dining plan)? Does it take awhile for the reservation confirmation to hit the dining side of the system? I did just literally book the trip but want to lock in my ADRs! I know I can call them to make the reservations but I always like searching for times online.

I had that issue trying to book Hoop-Dee-Doo Musical Revue a few weeks ago for January. This was weeks after I had booked my original, MYW package without dining. I had just upgraded using a promotion, changed my hotel and added dining about a week before making the ADR.

I just called the number and talked to a CM about linking my package to an HDDR. It was pretty simple. It just took some time for them to verbally read over the fine print you would otherwise read on your own after confirming your ADR online.

I booked all my ADRs before we were even officially booked - we do every year. We've never linked our reservation number with our ADRs and have never had a problem.

A lot of people are having problems with this same error message. I have been booking my ADR's online for years, so I know how to do it, but for some reason couldn't get mine to link either. I had to call and the CM had no problem linking and getting my +10. It was actually easier to do over the phone because I only had to give her my CC number once at the end. I remember doing them last year, and making 12 adr's and having to put it in every time. Just call

Me too. I have always done my ADRs online and very familiar.

I am however thinking I don't really need to link the ADRs with dining plan as the PP said because they always ask me at the table whether I am paying or using dining credits anyway so I don't think it matters unless you're booking a pre-paid restaurant then linking wouldn't charge the credit card.

Luckily I'm not doing any pre-paid restaurants this time so I went ahead and made all my ADRs without linking.

I like going online instead of calling because I constantly search for better times and it is easier than calling in each time I want to change it when I find the better time.
