And I was wondering what happened last night. I had a meeting I was hoping would be out by 9 but I didn't get out of there until almost 10.

Thanks

Let's see what I can remember.

The mother of the sick boy put him on a plane. The hospital said they would not agree to him having surgery there, but Carrie told Luca that if the boy came into the hospital he could have the surgery being they couldn't turn him away even though he didn't have insurance. Carrie told him they would deal with the higher ups later. Luca got the little boy off the plane, brought him to the hospital and had a team of volunteers doing the surgery.

Romano was making tea and accidently burned his bad arm -- quite severly. It seems like he's going to finally agree that it's not getting any better, only worse. Corday and Romano had a conversation towards the end of the show where he told her to schedule the OR for him to have his arm amputated ASAP.

John and Abby had problems. Abby did show up for John's grandmothers funeral -- although late in the car (limo) John sent for her. She left her brother inside the limo -- who proceeded to get drunk. He caused a scene at the funeral and was the one to actually fall into John's grandmothers grave (if you saw the previews). John basically told Abby not to bother coming to the house after she took care of getting her brother checked into a hospital. At the end of the show, John told Abby to leave him alone. It didn't look like they will be much of a couple anymore.

I'm sure there is much more that I'm just not thinking about right now. There was a scene with Corday and the cute surgeon. I hope the find a nice relationship for her.

Pretty much sums it up.

Poor Romano, he is such a jerk, but he has the most expressive eyes. He looked so sad last night.

Abby totally made the wrong move by actually walking away when John sat down and started to cry. Yeah, he told her to, but once he started crying she should have gone back in. Even my dh said "oooooh that was the wrong move" when she walked away.

OMG...I hadn't seen the previews because I haven't had much time this week to watch tv. Dang - I knew I should have taped it last night....

Thanks for that update. I just don't get John sometimes though - I mean Abby needs to get her brother taken care of and done something about and John is totally just thinking of him. Maybe because of the times he bailed Abby out when she was having probs with her mom. I don't know but I agree - if she just left him when he started crying - she did the wrong thing there!!!

Oh, just thought of another thing. John's grandmother left him the role/title/responsibility of being the president/chairman (whatever they call those higher up people in those positions) of the Carter Foundation. I wonder how that is going to play into things. I haven't heard anything about Noah Wylie leaving the show, but that would be a good out for him.

Oh...remember a couple of months ago he was at that Foundation dinner or something and it was when he was helping that "doctor" out that showed up at the hospital and then he went to check on him - the stubborn guy that was played by the guy that was on the Mary Tyler Moore show - I can't remember his name....dang - anyway and he gave that guy some money to buy stuff and at that time he made a comment to Abby that his grandmother wanted him to take over then.....so I wondered about that.

I haven't heard he was leaving either.....wow - hmmmm.....

that was Ed Asner.

the Carter Foundation and his role in the family business has been the issue all along. Gamma didn't understand why he wanted to be a doctor.

I just read an article on the internet that said Noah Wylie was happy with the scripts/storylines and staying another couple years.

herc.

I had heard a older rumor that Noah Wylie was leaving the show... and has anyone else noticed his receding hair line as well?

Yes, its there, he's getting it cut a certain way that you "dont" really notice it.. but the hairline is creeping back...

Oh, and one more detail.. Lewis and the male flight nurse she married are now divorced. The flight nurse actually made the chopper flight with Luka's patient.

I actually like that Croation female surgeon.

They actually had their marriage annuled, but they were still going to "see" each other. ;)
