We have 8:10 am reservations. Based on previous experience, will we finish our meal around 9:00 am for Epcot opening? What are typical meal times? I don't want to rush because the princesses may be the funnest part of my daughter's day, but I want to hit the rides at opening, especially test Track and Soarin?

We had an 8:10 reservation for Story book Princesses.

But there is a ceremony that takes place outside at 8:10 (the little girls open the place) then you are seated. 9:00 is rushing it a bit. You get princesses one at a time-- and it isnt BAM! BAM! BAM! you want to allow time to eat too.

I think we were out more closer to 9:30-9:45 then 9:00 and we are two adults with no kids. Yep- did get photos taking with all those princesses. Very fun.

For the reasons you stated-- I want to try for a 10:10 breakfast reservation- get to Epcot for rope drop- head to soaring for a FP then go to Test track--ride then head to Norway.

If you want to make those big rides at opening, you will need to be back over in Future World by 9.

Character meals by nature take longer. When planning, I always allow for an hour and a half.

By the time you get your photo package photo taken, eat, and have your character interaction, I don't think you will be done your meal by 9, let alone make it to the front of the park. It's a great meal, I would try to reschedule so you do not have to rush.

I was thinking around an hour because they want to keep things moving. I already have the reservation so I guess I will just go with the flow and get to Test Track when we leave and check the line. If TT is long, grab fastpass and head towards the other side of Future world, maybe see Nemo, Figment or The Land and try to get FP for Soarin as soon as FP window opens for Test Track. Hopefully there will still be FPs left for Soarin when Test Track FP window opens. Hard to do everything in 7 days!

Just a thought. I don't know the make up of your group, but if you find you are running a bit late, maybe another adult could leave just a little bit early, take everyone's tickets, and get FP's for Soarin', Then, they could meet you over at TT.

I'm usually the one that gets this job, but if it saves me some time in line, I'm all for it. :)

Pretty good idea. I am doing all the planning for my group so I am not even sure they could find Test Track without me but it is worth a shot. Yes, I will be the runner too.

Is your photo from the Norway Princess breakfast? Very cute!

I had an 810 am in Sept and I was not out of the restaurant till 935am. I always plan on 1- 1 1/2 hrs for chracter dining .

Thanks!:goodvibes

Yes it is, and then I embellished it in my PhotoPass account.

Hope you have a great trip!!

We ate there in February. We had 9am reservations on an EMH morning and visited a couple of rides then headed over for breakfast. We left at about 10.15am.

Really enjoyed this breakfast, just drooling at the thought of the potatoes.
