Epilepsy Awareness Day

We are contemplating a trip in early November that will include being there on November 5 for Epilepsy Awareness Day. Is this a huge increase in crowds?

And I saw they have discounted room rates on their website. Is that only for participants? Or open to anyone like gay days rates?

I would check the fine print about the rates being for everyone or for participants only. The Gay Days site now has requirements that people using the special rates also participate in the event, so it wouldn't be new if the EAD rates also require event participation.

The terms of all convention and event rates is that they are only open to participants.
