Anyone else wicked excited about Epic Mickey for the Nintendo Wii? I seriously cannot wait for this game to come out.....The concept looks amazing and it looks as though we will be seeing a ton of Disney characters that we normally don't encounter.....I think that the Dis Unplugged should definitely do a review of the game once in comes out!!! I know that you guys probably have better things to do so maybe even a listener review?? :goodvibes

I have an extra week of vacation this year that I may take just to play this game, yeah I have no life :surfweb:

E3 this week has given us the most info since IGN put up the info site last October.

Lot's of good E3 info including a demo here:

Toy Story Mania for the Wii was a huge disappointment for me. While I'm excited about Epic Mickey, I'll hang back until this game actually gets some play time after release.

It does look great! :goodvibes

We pre-ordered TSM. Its not my favorite game, but it is certainly not my least favorite either. It comes in handy when we bring it to family events.

We'll probably get Epic Mickey. Wait I know we will, who am I kidding. DP wants to play, I want the characters.

I am really excited for this game, and now I'm kind of kicking myself in the butt because I've gotten my hopes up and really don't want to be disappointed.

Here's to hoping it's an amazing game! :thumbsup2

I'm pretty excited about this game. I hope it lives up to everyone's expectations.

There was a video from E3 where they were showing off the game. The basic gameplay looked VERY similar to the Disney Princess Wii game that's been out for a while, just a different story. The video wasn't terribly clear but I hope it is a lot more cutting edge than it looked.

It at least is supposed not have a linear fixed story, so there is that...

i can't wait for this game. the only thing that could ruin the game is bad game control. they need to get the paintbrush thing down pat for a good game.

Don't remember which post it was on Facebook, but I saw a release date of September 16th mentioned :)

I agree 100%.

What you do not like entering your name each and every time you sit down to play? I like the game play, but getting to the game is a task in its self.

I am quite excited for Epic Mickey. It looks like it could be a lot of fun if it is done right.

Ahem...you DO have a life, and a pretty nice one at that! And I can't wait for the game to come out, too!

Hopefully we won't have to worry about it being a disappointment. Epic Mickey is quite a different game than Toy Story Mania is. (Which in my opinion, was made for no other reason that to capitalize on the success of the ride). Epic Mickey on the other hand is being designed by Warren Spector - a true legendary game designer, think Dues Ex etc. if your a gamer.

I'm hoping it lives up the hype, as it looks fantastic. I'm also undecided as to which platform to buy it on. Last word is it may be made available on the PS3 and Xbox 360 as well. Considering the beauty of this game, graphically, I think the HD capabilities of the PS3 or 360, would make me buy it on either of those over the Wii. (Considering I own all 3 systems, I like having options, LOL). :goodvibes
