Epic first time birthday surprise trip!

Hey there! I'm very very new here, but I've been reading on and off since January when I booked our very first family trip to Disney World. I've learned one main thing here, so I'll introduce myself and my family.

This pic is a couple of years old. Stella's was probably 7 there.

I'm Julie. I'm married to Kevin (10 years this month!). And our daughter is Stella (will turn 9 in the Magic Kingdom during our September trip!). We live in South Carolina, and I've never been to Disney World. Kevin has been to WDW maybe twice with extended family or with the high school band. This leads us to a Pre-Trip Plan of how the clueless go to Disney World!

We will be there from 9/20-9/24, staying at Port Orleans Riverside and visiting MK twice, AK once, Epcot once (yay F&W!), and one down day at the resort.

What's unique about our trip besides the fact that I have no idea what I'm doing? Well, I research ALOT, so I feel really good about it. Other than that:

It's a surprise trip for our daughter. She won't know til we hit the road. Yep, it's a road trip and a birthday so I've pre-purchased "souvenirs" as gifts for her to open along the 8 hour drive. Think Disney shirts, Minnie ears, autograph book, a new DVD, plus the complimentary park maps and planning stuff. She'll also get a few Disney lego sets!

We've gotten all the ADRs we wanted, as well as the FP+. I even got Anna and Elsa. It's tough not being able to talk to the Little about her choices, but she's not heavily into characters, so that's the only actual M&G I expect that she'll do. With dinners at Akershus, 1900 PF, and Be Our Guest, I think she'll be plenty pleased. Oh, and she has an appointment at BBB as well. Thinking that's a lucky little girl

I have touring plans loosely laid out, but for the most part the trip will go as follows:
Friday: Surprise early dismissal from school and the big reveal
Sat: Animal Kindom, ADR at Boma
Sun: Magic Kingdom and MNSSHP; ADR at 1900 PF
Mon: DAY OFF ADR at Ohana
Tues: Epcot; ADR at Akershus
Wed:Magic Kingdom; BBB appointment; ADR at Be Our Guest.

We're very excited and canNOT wait to get this show on the road. Literally. I'm not new to forums, but since I'm new to this one, please feel free to kindly guide me. I'm pretty sure I didn't even post the pic correctly...working on it!

Hi again! If anyone can tell me what I'm doing wrong with photobucket, I'd really appreciate it. I'd like to be part of the convo and community around here, and I'm really excited about our trip! I tried copying and pasting the http link from PB when I clicked on attach image, but it doesn't seem to be working. Any ideas?

Hi there! I wanted to lend a hand with the photo bucket issue; I too am new to the process and took basically all day trying to figure it out. Once the image is open by itself on the right side are four "link" type things. Simply click the last one that says Photo. Doing so should automatically copy the code to your clip board, thus allowing you to paste it into your DIS update! Hope that helps!

Oh yay, yep, that's us.

I plan to be back soon to talk about rookie mistakes I've made and will just live with on this first trip as well as an ADR I think I'm wanting change last minute. So many things to think about...

But for now, since I have to get up at the crack of dawn, I'm going to read some other threads
