I am flying out tomorrow and I have an epi pen for my pain meds. My question is this: I have one refill in the box with the prescription on it, but the other on is in its case and does not have my info on it. Is is ok to carry it without my name and prescription on it?

I have had my epi pens without my name on them and I've not been asked at all about it.

Thanks. I was worried they would see the needle in the x-ray and question me about it. One less thing to worry about.

Yeah, I too have never had them ask on any flight and, though you didnt ask, thought I'd mention that I have taken it to all of the parks (MK, Epcot, Universal, etc.) w/ out as much as a second glance (also, not labeled w/my name).

carry epi-pens all the time and never have been asked.

I would suggest going over to the disABILITIES Community Board, which is a subforum of disABILITIES. It is a fairly common topic of conversation.

I've never had an issue flying with my epi pens. The TSA doesn't even check the luggage other than using the xray.

Not a problem.I have to travel with phenergan vials and syringes. They told me just to put it in my quart size ziplock bag. At one airport I used, they request that you pull out medicines when you go through security. I did and jsut held up the bag with the medicines and small liquid containers. They just glanced at it in my hand and nodded.

I put mine in my quart size bag and have never had a problem.
