I am going to be in Disney for 4 nights the first week in June with my wife and for our daughter's 3rd birthday. We already have ADR for 2 out of the 4 nights. We are trying to decide where would be the best place for dinner the day we do Epcott, and what will work well for a 3 year old girl who eats very little and will be more concerned with the atmosphere.

We have limited our choices to the following:

  • Biergarten Restaurant
  • Le Cellier Steakhouse
  • Les Chefs de France
  • Teppanyaki Dining Room

Can anyone speak to these restaurants and what would be your vote based on our situation?

Thanks in advance.

we have taken our DD to Biergarten since she was 1. She has always loved the atmosphere as well as the food.

Happy Eating

Our daughter went to Biergarten at 3 and Teppanyaki at 4. She enjoyed them both! There is something of a "show" at both locations, so I guess it's more a matter of whether she'd prefer to watch a band play, or watch a chef cook.

I think my DD preferred the food at Teppanyaki - she had chicken, rice and veggies. Biergarten is a buffet, though, and she did try a lot more new things there.

I realize its not on your list, but for atmosphere we love Coral Reef.

Thanks for the suggestions. We did try and make ADR at the Coral Reef, but it was booked that night. As such we are trying to find the next best thing. It sounds like we may have overlooked Norway, thanks for the heads up.

well if you book later in the evening around 8-8:30 you can see the fire workd from the patio so great and entering for a 3 year old.

I think that Teppanyaki will be closed when you are down in June.

That said I have eaten at Biergarten a few times with kids and everyone loved it. I would try to book a time when the band is playing so you DD can get up and dance with all of the other kids.

Below is a link that is updated regularly with the times of the performances.

Teppanyaki is great! I see lots of kids facinated with the "chef" right in front of them.

I think Biergarten would be fun, and very unusual. If DD likes music and dancing definitely here...food is just a bonus to the authenic atmosphere!
