Just reading and watching a video on "Orlando Theme Park News" (www.Orlandoparknews.com) and they stated that the singing group at the American Pavillion "Voices of Liberty" is testing out Disney themed songs to sing and that they might or might not include the traditional American Folk songs and ballads in this new testing repertoire. They are currently performing outside in the American Gardens Theatre dressed in modern suit and ties and dresses, not their historic costumes (possible costume change due to the outside Florida heat). Sure hope this is not a permanent change. I liked them as they were:):)

According to wdwent.com, they will be moving back to the rotunda on Wednesday. Is there some quick lobby/rotunda renovation going on?

As I understand it, on the days that VoL are in the American Gardens Theater,
a new group, The Yodeling Lumberjacks of Canada,
will be singing (as they carve timber with chainsaws) in the AA rotunda.

;)

OMG!! That is too funny!!! With the way the EPCOT entertainment changes have been lately, just might happen!!! LOL!!

i hope not!! i love the VoL just the way they are, love hearing the american history they sing through song. they have done a few disney hits over the years every now and again but left the show unchanged, it always draws a crowd so why change it now?

As of about a month ago, the plan was for the Voices to perform at the AmGar two days a week, and spend the other five days in the rotunda as is traditional.
Their repertoire is always adjusting and expanding, and over the past couple of years they have been doing more Disney stuff, including 'When You Wish . . . . " and "A Dream is a Wish . . ". Not surprisingly, a few months ago they added a pretty good arrangement of "Let it Go". (About the same time, they also added a beautiful arrangement of "Over the Rainbow".)

So, THAT's what all the buzz is about...
