we have been to Orlando twice now and are going back for a 3rd and 4th time Dec 08 and June 08. As yet we have mastered 3 of the 4 parks but have not really spent much time in future world in Epcot.

We love World Showcase and have been on Soaring :lovestruc and the Seas but that's all (apart from tricking my husband into the beverley hee hee)

Can you "Sell" me on Epcot??

What's good to do????

Epcot,my sister hates it we love it! Test track is excellent,Mission Space if you are not claustraphobic, the Land,Honey I shrunk the Audience is a must,Figment (although the old one was better!),Universe of Energy is good,Body Wars is like Star Tours at MGM sorry HS:lmao: ,Cranium Command is funny,Spaceship Earth is relaxing..... Our feeling for Epcot is that you just need to take your time & sort of be open to it.

I really like the look of The Land and am looking forward to Spaceship Earth - i almost feel a bit guilty about going into the parks so many times and not trying it.

Yes the Land is a great ride. We also like Spaceship Earth and Test Track. Universe of Energy is a must do at least once. All of the Wonders of Life pavillion is now closed so no Body Wars or Cranium Command.

As said take your time to wander around and explore, the water tricks outside the Imagination pavillion are good :)

Claire ;)

Must do (1)Mexico (2) Norway (3)China (4)Japan then either Italy or Gemany depending on foot traffic, always American Adventure& France and we must remember to call at the carts for tasters of other foods. sometimes we do the WS anticlockwise it seems to help us get around easier during higher crowds.
We always do Living with the Land and Seas with Nemo and friends, TT,Ellen's Energy Adventure, Figment of your Imagination Ride, HISTA, a new favourite last trip was MS (green queue) but we have yet to see minimal lines for Soarin' not got on it yet after 2 trips maybe another time we will be lucky:confused3

I have to say that Epcot is probably my favourite park. I'm not a big rollercoaster fan so this park is one of the few where I'll actually ride everything  . In my own personal opinion it also has some of the best non-rollercoaster rides in mission space, test track and soarin. Add on honey I shrunk the audience, finding nemo and turtle talk and you've got a nice set of rides to keep you entertained.

One of our favourite things to do on our holiday is to watch the Beatles tribute band at the rear of the UK pavillion. Have a cold beer whilst watching them. The atmosphere is great.

I like Epcot but more for an evening stroll around World Showcase than actually getting on any of the rides.

The one thing I do feel and applies also to 'Tomorrowland' at Magic Kingdom (which I personally feel is looking a bit dated now)...is that Disney do need to be careful their visions of the future are the 'future' and not the present :)

I think that subconsiously agree with that - tomorrowland and futureworld are the two places we tend not to spend too much time

we love future world at epcot!!

in addition to what everyone else has mentioned, we also enjoy innoventions......it's sort of small scale fair sort of place in there and we usually go to every exhibit....e.g., the fire hazards house, the house of the future, the home theater, all the dancing/jumping video games, the tree quiz one, etc etc..

my kids have always very much enjoyed innoventions....just sort of a slow lazy place to spend time...

as for the rest of future world, we love mission space (DS goes on the spinning side, DD, DH and I go on the wimpy side - either way it's a GREAT ride), test track, soarin, living with the land, the circle of life, the living seas, turtle talk, journey into the imagination, honey i shrunk the audience, test track, universe of energy, and spaceship earth...
in other words, everything in future world!!!

Claire Cranium Command is gone?!!!!!!!! The death of another "sleeper" attraction! This was one of those that you read on the map & thought that it would be rubbish & to be pleasantly surprised when it was actually quite good.
SD:thumbsup2

Cranium Command is only open for a few days at Christmas.....well it has been for the last two years. Body wars went overseas.

we love cranium command, but the whole pavilion hasn't been open any of the times we've been at epcot for about the past 3 years...

Gotta say tho, I think Honey, I Shrunk the Audience is a little tired now

:goodvibes
