Epcot World Showcase

We just returned from DW at Christmas and my kids (5,8,12) love Epcot.
My suggestions: 1) Do the KidCot stations and let your kids create a mask. They will receive a cardboard token in 11 countries that they can add to the mask. We let our younger 2 kids color a bit of the mask at each of the stations. At China, Japan and Morroco, the KidCot CWs will inscribe your child's name in the native language on the mask 2) If your kids are into the characters, you will find the most characters with NO lines at Epcot. 3) There is a new "Kim Possible" adventure that you sign up for at several kiosks or at Innoventions. Your kids will recieve (1 per family) a "cell phone" with a spy adventure that guides them through the WS with all kinds of fun surprises--the cell phone works animation in some of the sites, takes your photo in others, etc. You will have several stops in each country. You can decide whether or not to complete the whole mission or just parts.
Have Fun!

Here are 10 things to do, not necessarily in this order:

1. Voices of Liberty at American Adventure.

2. Have a Grey Goose Slush in France

3. Try the School Bread in Norway

4. Watch the Off Kilter show outside the Canadian Pavillion

5. Watch the Dragon Legend Acrobats in China

6. Listen to the Mariachi Band in Mexico

7. Watch the Matsuriza drummers in Japan.

8. Watch the Serveur Amusant in France

9. Watch the World Showcase Players in Italy and UK

10. Listen to British Invasion -Beatles lookalike and cover band in UK.

Okay, one more..pick a pearl in Japan.

Definitely some of my favorites...#'s 4, 9 & 10 should be enjoyed with a nice cold Guinness from the Rose & Crown:banana:

There's also the new ride at the Innovention center called "Sum of all Thrillers" you can design and ride your own thrill ride. It is awesome. :thumbsup2

One of our favorite things about Epcot is Dining around the World. We eat breakfast at our hotel (counter service or snack), which holds us til WS opens up. Then we start into WS (usually in Mexico) and have something from each country as we wander. Mexico is for Margaritas (we have a high Hispanic population in our area, so Mexican food is a weekly thing for us), then School bread in Norway (1 snack credit), 1 plate / snack from each country. We end up spending our day's worth of meals and maybe a bit out of pocket on some of the most unique food there is in WDW. Then at the end of the day we relax and enjoy Illuminations from where ever we are around the lake, along with another snack or beverage. :thumbsup2

Agree with Voices of Liberty! I just love hearing them sing. My DS sings at college and we really appreciate that so much!!! :thumbsup2
