Epcot World Showcase versus Resort Signatures

Dining credits and price aside, is there any World Showcase TS restaurant available on the dining plan that you believe is at least comparable (nearly as good, if not better) from a food quality perspective than any resort signature restuaruant?

In other words, from a food quality perspetive, would you rank any dining plan World Showcase restaurant near or above any resort signature restaurant and if so, which would you rank near or above which?

And how much difference is there, on average, between a World Showcase restaurant and a resort signature restaurant? Is it a small to moderate difference or a marked difference?

That's a tough question in some ways. All of the Signatures that I've been to (I've only been to the Signatures that are part of the DDP) really stressed ambiance, presentation, and service. The restaurants at Epcot try, but don't quite have the same feel because they are inside a theme park - guests are dressed much more casually and the staff doesn't seem to have quite the same knowledge level (about wines, for example) as at the Signatures.

Of the Epcot WS resturants, my two favorites that are closest to Signature (in terms of food taste) are Tutto Italia and Les Chefs de France. (I haven't been there in ages, but I would guess that Bistro de Paris is also very much like a Sig.)

*I really like Le Cellier, but I can't tell the difference between the Canadian beef at dinner and the non-Canadian beef at lunch, so for the price, I'd opt to go to Le Cellier for lunch.

For the most part, resort signature restaurants are a head above the best of the World Showcase restaurants. I haven't eaten at Bistro de Paris, but it would be your closest to a resort signature.

Bistro does not take DDP. Also they do not have a children's menu (but if pushed will provide a child menu from Chefs).

It is definitely better than any Disney-run restaurant except V&A.

I would give Tokyo Dining a very good review also.

Sorry but Le Cellier dinner doesn't make it. The food is good and not great, and the atmosphere is NOT signature.
