I cannot seem to find this info anywhere- does anyone know what 6 wines you get in the epcot wine tour thing at france germany and italy? I love wine so it seems like a fun thing to try on my next trip- but i want to make sure i like what kinds of wines are included. Are there pre-selected wines that you get? Or do you get to choose from the options at the wine bars? Ex- i dislike chardonnay, so if 2 of the 6 wines included have to be chardonnay it wont be a good deal for me. But if I get to choose from all the available wines, i can just make sure i get the ones i think i will like.

Thanks in advance for any help!

The info is hard to find! My DH and I have checked it out while in World Showcase a couple of times, but have always passed. We also enjoy wine, but really only reds, and many of the samples are white. (yes, the wines are pre selected) It's too bad, too, because it looks like fun!

It would really be great if you could select your own, that way you can still try some new wines but not have to get ones you already know you don’t like

I have friends that did it a couple weeks ago. I haven't gotten a lot of details from them yet but did get one comment from them while they were there. They said all the wines are very sweet. It was all I needed to know to tell me I didn't want to ever do it. I don't care for sweet wines

Unfortunately the wines are pre-selected and that's the reason I haven't tried it. It may vary by cast member but I've overheard others asking for substitutions and being denied. This video from Touring Plans from a few weeks ago covers it. I think he mentions the types of wine.

We did it in 2016 on our honeymoon. It's preselected wines, they are all sweet for sure. That wasn't so much of an issue for us since my husband likes sweet wines and I drink both sweet and dry. We didn't realize we could have spread it out amongst a few days at the time. That being said, in 2016 it was still a pretty good deal. Now, I know they've increased the price and I wouldn't be as tempted to recommend it. You'd be better off just ordering one glass at each of those countries on your own of a wine you're incline do to like. I tried to add the picture of the little pamphlet we got but I cant seem to get it to work.

According to my sheet from June 2016 we had -
Germany - liebfraumilch and spätlese
Italy - Pinot Grigio and rosa regale
France- pouilly fuissé and tour de ségor

Where do you sign up? $32 for 6 glasses of wine, if I heard that correctly, is a screaming' deal. Maybe I heard it wrong.

You can go to any of the three countries and just ask to start the wine walk. It's 2 oz pours. So it's not much of a "glass" of wine. Also, to me, it used to be $20 which was a tad more palatable personally. But. It's something fun to do for wine lovers, for sure.

OP try googling "Epcot wine walk 2017" - the first result is a comprehensive review of the walk from May of last year. So. Some details may be different but it's pretty similar to what I remember.

From when we were there in October, that seems to be the same. They now have a refillable wine glass that you can use for the wine walk. They never included the wines we were interested in, so have not tried it, but it sounds fun. And trying 6 wines for $32 is not a bad deal, even if they are only 2 oz pours.

I may be a bit skewed then because we do wine tastings here at home for less then $15 with 3 oz pours and more wines. Also we go to a monthly dinner that's 4 full sized alcoholic drinks PLUS a 4 course meal for $35. But. Again, that's my personal feelings on it based on my experience. To each their own!

I agree that its not cheap, but also not expensive for Disney prices.

Sign up and get your wines at the following places:
Italy - La Bottega Italia
France - Aux Vins de France
Germany - Weinkeller. It's the wine bar just past the gift shop, right before Biergarten. It's on the left.

It's fun, but the price has increased significantly. It was about $20 in 2016, $25-ish in 2017 (when I did it), and now $32. You do get plastic souvenir wine glasses, but these ended up in my recycling bin. It's a red and a white wine for each country.

Oliver and his SIL did a video on it back in 2016.
