My cousin and I are doing a day at Epcot just the two of us. We plan to drink and eat as we go. I'd like opinions on the best drink and small food item for each country...can ya'll help me out? Here's what I've got so far

Mexico - margarita
Norway -pastry
Japan
Italy - Italian Margarita
China
France - Grand Mariner Slush
UK -
Canada
Morroco
US
Germany - pretzel[

Thanks! :woohoo:/COLOR]

I would get an egg roll in china, a chocolate mousse and champagne in France and Fish and Chips with a beer to share in UK. I love to snack and drink my way through Epcot!

Can my wife and I join ya! ;-)

Japan - Sake
China - Tseng Tau beer (sp)
UK - No Brainer a yard of Smithwicks pronounced Smitticks
Germany - Grosse Dunkles Spaten & ein schoss von Goldschlagle

Just be VERY careful about drinking around the world. Thank God for the Monorail! :cool1:

You have to get a pastry in Frace! They are all excellent! Chocolate Mousse and the creme puffs are great. Not much in the USA, we like the funnel cakes. If it's hot, Kaki Gori is nice from Japan and not too filling if you're trying to save room. Germany, my husband loves their brats, great with a German beer. And I second the Grand Mariner slush!

And Norway, I'm Norweigan so I love Lefse! Mmmm. :goodvibes

Thanks for the suggestions! I think I might have to try the grey goose drink! Also love the idea of a pastry with champagne...I may never leave france :rotfl:

I'm not a fan of beer, I hate it, actually. But maybe this trip I'll give it another shot. I do think we will be doing a lot of sharing with the food items, otherwise we'd never be able to eat that much.

I've been looking over the CS menus for world showcase and got a few ideas from there too!

Sure, you can join us, just look for me! Please note, I'm not usually making that face. I think that is what is reffered to as a "beverly face"...after drinking that nasty coke at Epcot!

Germany, goldschlagle...thats the booze with gold flecks in it right? Had enough of that in my 20's!

We will be careful, but this is a dream of mine, so I plan to live it up. Whole day at World showcase with no kids, no schedule and whole lotta beverages! It's the wish my heart makes!!!

:lmao: I hear ya!

Yup the golds in the drink. Must be good for your liver!
Forgot about Champagne & Pastries in France, that's a good call!

Really -- I drank my way around the "World" and was quite buzzed by the time I reached France but I had a GREAT time doing it! Have fun and enjoy! How often do you get to travel the "World"? Do it up!

Ooh, the "snacks" in France. You are right, you may never have to leave-booze and sweets...what more does a girl need?

I seriously think I could live in Epcot. If Walt would have went along with his plans to make it a real place to live, I would have been first in line.

I'm starting to think that I will need to work on building some tolerance! Can you imagine 11 drinks in one day? Well, 13 if you figure that I want to have 3 in France, haha. But I'll probably skip all the beer countries and get food in them...ya know, help absorb!

Have a blast! Me and my bff are leaving tomorrow for a week at the world with no Dh's and no Dk's..............we can't wait........she is turning 40....and we are gonna eat and drink and celebrate our way around the world :yay:
