I have an adr for Garden Grill but I just do not think we will like the food, I know its mainly for the characters but w/ 3 other character meals on the schedule already-- I wouldn't mind dropping this one. Please give me some opinions on where else I can go? Already have Le Cellier and Via Napoli also must be on dining plan and must be 1 ts. I know lots of parameters but I would appreciate the suggestions.

thanx!

My DD12 and I like the food at Garden Grill. The mashed potatoes are really good. She liked it enough that it was one of her requests for TS meals for our upcoming trip.
I also enjoy the atmosphere at the Coral Reef (the food is okay). I also like the Teppan Edo in Japan and the kids always love watching the chefs.

Chefs De France is a good option, as is San Angel Inn. You could stroll out the international gate and do something on the boardwalk too...we're trying Kouzzina's for the first time, I've heard great things about it....there's a clam bake buffet at the beach club - that's just a 3 minute walk from the gates....

If your party like seafood, I would recommend that you do not miss the Coral Reef. It's my favorite restaurant in Epcot. I think that both their lunch and dinner are wonderful.

Teppan Edo is a really yummy and fun restaurant to try. It is a Japanese steakhouse restaurant. The chefs interact with the kids and the food is really good. If you're kids are old enough to sit at the counter where they're preparing the hot food, I would definitely try it!

I really did not like the food at Garden Grill in 08, neither did the person I went with. I vowed to never eat there again with that said there are soo many better places at Epcot

1. Coral Reef
2. Les Chefs
3. Biergarten
4. Cape May
5. Tokyo Dining

We had so much fun at Biergarten last month. I won's say the food was amazing, but it was decent german food. Our two girls 5 and 2 just loved the Oompah band and dancing with all the other kids. They seemed to have more fun with that than with some of the charafter meals we had.

My personal favorites in Epcot are Tutto Italia and Nine Dragons Restaurant, as well as Garden Grill. Also, Marrakesh is great if you're feeling like branching out and trying somehting new. If you have children, I recommend Tutto Italia, because Italian food is better suited for picky eaters.

The new Mexican restaurant La Hacienda is really good, and I like Coral Reef in Future World.

Yea I would definitely go with Tutto Italia. You might be thinking 2 italian places is too much but if you do pizza at Via and then do pasta/entree at Tutto, there won't be a crossover.

Coral Reef was a great pick for us, they offer lunch or dinner.

The aquarium is really cool and the kids will likely enjoy that. We inhaled our meal there and left nothing...lol. Finally the kids activity sheets rocked. Go relax, eat well and have fun.

Yea I would definitely go with Tutto Italia. You might be thinking 2 italian places is too much but if you do pizza at Via and then do pasta/entree at Tutto, there won't be a crossover.

There are 20 italian restaurants within a 10 minute drive of my house (ok...maybe 20 min drive)...I wouldn't waste my vacation meals eating something I can get at home. I have yet to read a review that said it was the best italian food they ever had...if I hear that, I'll try it.

I think that you would enjoy Tuto as well as Coral Reef. We also enjoy San Angel, especially for the atmosphere. None of it is world class dining but all of it is enjoyable. Personally not crazy about Chefs but only tried it once.

I'd say Biergarten if you have kids. The food is pretty good, the beer is excellent, and the entertainment is very fun. It's a German party!

I haven't been yet, but we're trying La Hacienda de San Angel in March. I'm super excited to give it a try as the menu looks delish and my kids' favorite cuisine is Mexican.

We're also looking forward to La Hacienda. I'm willing to recommend it stomach unseen.:rotfl:

Love Garden Grill but I'll give another nod for Marrakesh. I order the sampler appetizer for my entree. We timed it to see the dancer. As we were seated the couple next to us had already eaten and was lingering over wine. We assumed they were waiting on the dancer too. Then, 30 seconds before she takes center floor, they get up and leave. :lmao: Did they even know there was a dancer, did they not care/seen it before, were they tired of waiting. Funny to think what we were moments from experiencing but just missed.:scared:

Bierngarten is a favorite for us. Good Italian, Asian, Mexican, Seafood we can find easily here. Plus the band & the theming at Bierngarten is fantastic. My DDs find it fun to watch the band & then be invited up to dance.

We did Marrakesh one year - and we enjoyed the entertainment/atmosphere. But my DDs didn't enjoy the food as much. It was still one of those meals we were all glad we tried, because we had a good time.

Although Tutto isn't the best italian meal I have ever had, it was very good. We've been there twice and we have about 50 italian restaurants within a 10-15 min drive. I recommend going there actually.
