Epcot tree lighting ceremony

The Epcot tree lighting ceremony that takes place around 6 PM, is that is Future World or World Showcase?

I think its in the area between FW and WS. Just look for the christmas tree and expect it to be there.

It is near the entrance to the world showcase. You walk through the bridge of lights in Future World to the entrance of World Showcase.

Does anyone know if they do the tree lighting ceremony during the first week in January? I know some decorations are apparently still up then and the Osbourne Lights at MGM are still lit until Jan. 7.

Magic Kingdom does a tree lighting ceremony as well... also around dusk every evening.

After New Years Eve the tree will probably be there but no ceremony.
