What are your top five attractions for little ones at Epcot? I have a 2 yo DS and a 6 (almost) DD. Living Sea is being refurbished, so that one's out. What else did your kids like? We have an ADR for the princess breakfast.

Thanks!

1. KidCot Stations in all of the countries...for masks and things.
2. Passport book....kids get stamps at all the countries
3. That ride in Noray...Maelstrom?
4. El Rio del Tiempo in Mexico
5. Performers...the living statues in France and the drummers in Japan were our kids favorites.

Have fun!

1. My DD5 LOVED Spaceship Earth last year. Don't ask me why - but we rode it 4 times (DH and DS1 fell asleep in the back every time, so they liked it too!).
2. Journey into the Imagination - DD loved Figment
3. The Land - she loved the boat ride through the gardens. I'm excited to be able to eat there in a few weeks now that it's been refurbished.
4. World Showcase - she liked doing the kids activities "around the world". They had a face mask that she could decorate, and then we went to every country and she got it stamped then they added another item to the stick from that country.
5. The train set next to Germany. Both of my kids were in a trance watching this.

They did both like Living Seas as well - bummer that it's closed. I was surprised at how much time we spent at EPCOT - I didn't think there would be much to do. This October we're going to get her the "passport" that she can get stamped in all of the countries.

Have fun!

1. Honey I Shrunk the Audience
2. Test Track (DS4 loved it!!!)
3. Spaceship Earth
4. Princess Breakfast in Akershus
5. Dancing in the Biergarden

My DD's were 3 and 5 on our last visit. Here are their favorites:

1. Spaceship Earth
2. Journey into Imagination with Figment
3. Living with the Land boat ride (They love this, I don't know why!)
4. Maelstrom
5. Test Track (only for DD5, DD3 was still too short to ride)

Of course, we all love Illuminations! Have a great time!

Where do you buy the passports that they can stamp. Are they real passports or disney type passports? My dd would love that(so would I) Who gives the stamps in each country?

Thanks so much!!! :cool1:

My kids love:
~ the masks, passports, etc.
~ trying a treat from another country (usually something sweet ;) )
~ finding characters
~ the gardens in the UK and America...they are like mazes
~ listening to the musical groups and seeing the performers
~ feeding the ducks
~ Living with the Land, the boat ride is relaxing and there's lots of cool veggies to see
~ watching the fountain dance
~ the mini train in Germany

You can buy the passport book at all the gift shops in the World Showcase.

My kids used them last year and some of the CM's at the kidcot stations also wrote cute little messages in their native language. My DD4 was really excited about getting "China's autograph" or "Germany's autograph", and the stamps were a big hit as well.

DS (age 2) loves Innoventions! They have a fire truck inside with all the fire safety info that keeps him mesmerized! Also loved the robot area where the robots are making music. There's an area with computers for younger ones (needed a little help, but still enjoyed it). There was just so much to see in there - and it is so often overlooked for younger kids.

He likes Journey into Imagination (the figment ride), but really loves the area where you come out of figment. His favorite is conducting the different instruments. Too cute!!! :goodvibes

Most of the others have already been mentioned - Living with the Land boat ride is always a hit, but inside the land area is the junior chef - kids make toll house cookies and get a chef's hat. Sometimes they do put an age restriction on it (supposed to be age 4 and up), but when they aren't busy, they will occasionally allow younger chef's "helpers".

Anyway - these are just a few suggestions that often get overlooked. Hope you have a great time!

Thanks for this tip -- Do you remember how much they cost?

Thanks again!

Wow...if memory serves correct (WARNING! it rarely does!) then I think around $10.00...it's a cute little souvenier to keep them busy...

HTH!

During our last tirp (May 03) my little ones were DD5 & DS4. They were too small for the "usual" rides but liked (and still talk about):
1. The dancing waters (one in front of Imagination [they jump over you] & on the walk way to World Showcase)
2. Life Pavillion (it may be closed due to lack of sponsorship)
3. World of Energy ride
4. Watching for monorail and waving - we had to sit there for over an hour before we made them leave!!!
5. World show case parade - my kids always love a parade!
It was a little boring for DD11, who had to wait for Mom or me to get free to go on a ride with her, but it doesn't sound like you have that issue.

Good luck and enjoy.

I always pack an extra set of clothes for my DS7. He loves playing in the shooting jet water fountains. Not the large one which plays to the music, but the it's on the right side on the walkway heading to the Showcase.

My daughter just turned 5 in July and we went in August. Her favorites are:
Test Track
Soarin
Spaceship Earth
Innoventions (computers and running around)
Maelstrom

DD (newly 6 last year) loved:
1) Kidcot stations and getting her passport stamped in the WS.
2) Spaceship Earth!! Big favorite of the trip- the only ride we rode more than twice in all of WDW.
3) The hands-on activities in the Imagination pavilion. I had to practically drag her and her father away from the face-morphing computers.
4) street performers in WS- she loved Off Kilter, British Invasion, Japanese drummers, and Living Statues (no longer there :guilty: ).
5) the cool "jumping" fountain outside the Imagination pavilion. In fact, she liked all the fountains.

1. The games and play area outside mission space. I will not ride this so DS and I endup here. It was one of our favorite things. they have a huge group video game that you can play and a climbing area. plus some other games.
2. fountains - outside test track and a few other places (if you have a change of cloths) - step on the wrong one and you get wet type of thing
3. genie and alladin hang out in morocco.
4. illuminations
5. SOARING for your 6 yr old - mine loved it at 5 in dl and this year at epcot. - actually this should be number one for mom and dad. child swap the baby and your 6 yr old will get rides for 1 line.

My DD, age 5, loves this one, too? I don't get it! It is so above their heads, but I love it, too - so I go along with it! Go figure.

oh, I forgot about Soarin. Both of my kids loved it. I however, am so afraid of hieghts I had my eyes closed through most of it. Get the 1st row so you wont see anybody's feet.

:sunny: Okay, here goes...

ds (2 1/2)
5. Tram ride-yipeee!
4. Teacups
3. swimming pool at the Pop
2. Playhouse Disney live!
1. playing in the fountains at Epcot(ones between FW and WS)

dd's (8 & 12)
5. Small World
4. Mickeys Philharmagic
3. The Land boat ride
2. Kali River Rapids
1. Kidcot Fun Stops

Their faves change all the time. My ds was only 15 mnths old when we went last, so I'm sure there will be big changes in what he likes this time, the only exception probobly being Playhouse Disney, he still loves Bear! :)
