Epcot to MK

We will be parking at Epcot and taking monorail to Transportation center and returning to Epcot later for a concert. Is it quicker to take monorail to MK from the transportation center or take the boat? Thanks

The express monorail is normally quicker but if there is a long line at the monorail station the ferry boat can be quicker.

Monorail is quicker under normal circumstances but I would consider taking the monorail to MK and the ferry boat back. My kids love going through the Contemporary and also love taking the boat. They are like two bonus attractions.
