EPCOT to MK monorail?

We are staying offsite and visiting Disney for one day post cruise. We plan to do MK in the morning (non EE day) and then hop over to EPCOT at lunchtime. I was thinking about driving to EPCOT in the morning and parking there. Then take the monorail to MK. That way, the car will be at EPCOT at the end of the day. So, what time does the monorail begin from EPCOT to MK? Will my plan work?

Yes your plan for parking will work. I'd expect the monorail to be running at least 1/2 hour before park opening, but hopefully somebody else will know the exact time.
