Epcot to HS

If we have dinner reservations at Akershus in Epcot and we want to go over to the Osborne Lights in HS after dinner during EMH, what is the best way to get there that has the least walking? I will have my mom with me and it will be our 4th night so I think she will be tired by then and want to minimize walking as much as possible. We will have a car, so that is an option if people recommend that over any other mode of transportation.

There's a boat that connects Epcot and Hollywood Studios. I'm not sure how close it boards to Akershus, but that's probably the way with the least amount of walking.

Least walking would be to walk back towards Mexico, then around past Canada and GB to the International Gateway, and catch the boat the to DHS. That's about 1/2 mile walk.

Walking out the front of the park to take the bus to DHS would be about 3/4 mile, but would save you about 10 minutes, since the bus ride is at most 10 minutes, while the boat ride is 20-25.

Be aware though that the line for the boats can be long. We followed that route last year to see the lights, and the boats were crazy busy. Once on, we were packed like sardines, and many people had to stand. Seeing the lights is well worth it, but you may want to drive if your mom will have trouble standing on the boat.
