Okay, I'm going with a group of newbies and they will check in several days after we arrive. They will not be going into a park on arrival day. So, I thought we could catch the bus from POR to MK and ride the monorail loop. Then, I thought about transferring at TTC to the Epcot monorail and making that trip. We could get off at Epcot and then what would be the best for getting to DTD?

I do not believe there are direct busses from Epcot to DTD.

The best way is going to a resort and taking the bus from that resort. Another suggestion, if you have no time constraints, take the bus to SSR - Saratoga and walk from there. I heard there was a walkway to DTD from SSR.

Besides the walkway, there is also boat transportation from SSR to Downtown. I recomment the boat - the views from Lake Buena Vista are buena!

After riding the monorail loops, go back to POR and take the boat to DTD. It's one of our favorite things to do when staying at POR.

I had thought about going to Epcot and riding from there to TTC and then the monorail over to Contemporary. Then we would catch bus from Contemporary to DTD and end with a boat ride back to POR. The only drawback in that is not getting to ride the monorail INTO Epcot. I thought the kids would get a big kick out of that. Too bad there are no buses from parks to DTD.

from Epcot, get a bus to POR/POFQ/CSR/OKW/SSR. Those should be the closest parks to Epcot with bus service. I recommend POR/POFQ. From there, you can catch a boat to DTD marketplace. The boat ride is about 20minutes.

We just got back and saw something that I didn't think I saw before. We were leaving Epcot and going to the bus. On one of the stops there were 2 stops that read for MGM and AK. The other was DTD and MK I belive. Now like I said I don't know if this was there last time or if this is a trial thing that Disney is doing, but it seemed to work.

There always have been busses between Epcot and AK, and Epcot and MGM.

The sign you probably saw was MK/TTC. When the Epcot monorail shuts down (a couple of hours after Epcot closes) and MK is open really late, there will be busses running between the TTC and Epcot. That's for those who parked at Epcot at the beginning of the day and ended their day at MK.

So,I guess my option is going to be:
MK-ride the loop
TTC-switch to Epcot monorail
Epcot-bus to POR
POR-boat to DTD

Sounds good to me.
