If we are in Epcot, can we walk to the Boardwalk area? It looks like it is on the edge of Epcot?

thanks

Yes, there is an exit just on the other side of England. It takes about 5-10 minutes depending upon how quickly you stroll. Also there is a boat.

The international gateway is between England and France in the World Showcase. Walk out the gate way and go to your left. You'll be at Boardwalk in less than 10 minutes.

And if you follow that walkway on past the Boardwalk, you can walk to the Studios. {Disney MGM}

Yes, you use the rear exit of Epcot. You can also access Disneys Yacht/Beach club and Dolphin/Swan from that same exit.

There is also free "Friendship" boat transportation to and from all of the "Epcot resorts" (including Boardwalk) and connecting all the way to Disney/MGM Studios. Just walk aboard the boat and off you go.

The walk from EPCOT to the Boardwalk or the Yacht and Beach Club is a pretty short walk, but from Boardwalk or Yacht and Beach to MGM is quite a bit longer.

From the Boardwalk to MGM usually takes us about 20 minutes.

Well now! This puts a whole new spin on deciding where to eat! thanks :thumbsup2

It is a nice walk to the Boardwalk to have dinner at Spoodles or Flying Fish. If you are too full to walk back, there is the boat, but it really doesn't save you many steps.

Could I please be picky and point out that the gate is actually next to the UK and not England!! Don't forget Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland - we're part of the UK too!!

:thumbsup2

We like to make that walk because there usually aren't many people around. We also use that path to get to MGM.

If you do the walk from Epcot to the boardwalk, make your way over the the
Beach Club which has a wonderful Clambake buffet in the Cape May Cafe' , many other items to choose from also, if your not into clams or shrimp. The childs buffet is also good, I had the chicken fingers and pizza off the childs side.

We yanks are so uninformed about these things.

Keep reminding us and we'll do our best.

We don't want to offend our friends from across the pond!
