Am planning a short half day at Epcot and then planning on spending a few hours at the Boardwalk area.
Using WDW transportation, how do we get from Epcot to the Boardwalk area? I am not familiar with either Epcot or the Boardwalk area so have no idea. Is there a boat (the kids would like that)?

Any info. would be greatly appreciated.
Thank you
Suzy V.

There is a boat from the International Gateway entrance (next to United Kingdom in the World Showcase). It is also an easy walk (probably about 10 min).

The walk is very pleasant! There is so much to see!

I also think the walk is nice and pretty short. By the time you get on the boat and wait for it to load up, then hit all the other resorts (I can't remember which order they stop at the YC/BC & S/D) you could have walked to the BW area already.

Once you exit Epcot via the International Gateway, just go straight, there will be signs to show you where to turn left to get the to BW & go straight to the YC/BC. You really can't miss it (direction-wise). HTH!

I agree that walking is faster, (especially if you want to get to the ESPN Club). However, if you want to take the boat, the boardwalk is the first stop.

better-thanks, I can never remember the order of the boats between Epcot & MgM, I always get them mixed up.

Enjoy your stroll, OP! :)

The International Gateway exit is between UK and France (right before you cross the bridge into France) I also agree it's a nice walk ......Beaches and Cream also has the BEST ice cream (at Beach Club) and according to my two sons the best hamburgers also!
