I understand the general rule of thumb is that Epcot is best avoided on weekends during festivals. I also think that applies more to Food and Wine than the other festival seasons, but I could be wrong about that.
We're set to arrive for our vacation on Mother's Day, May 12, 2019 (Sunday), which will be during the Flower & Garden Festival, and I was trying to pick a park to go to on our arrival afternoon/evening. Epcot is currently looking like one of the better options based on how the rest of our trip is shaping up, BUT that would be a weekend night <gasp>. Is this something you would avoid or not? We would probably just ride a few rides and maybe take a quick look at World Showcase, spending maybe a total of 4 hours or less in the park. We would hit it at least one other time later in our trip for a more complete day of touring. WWYD?
