Hello, preparing for our FP+ window to open on Friday at 12AM! This is our first trip to WDW as a family, I haven't been since I was 13! Our children will be 6 & 4. Our 4 year old is only 38.5 inches tall, so we don't anticipate experiencing too many of the attractions that require us to be 40in or taller (although my husband will accompany our older child on a few coasters at MK). We'd prefer to avoid separating!
Anyway..... What can you suggest for Epcot? We have an 8:30AM reservation at Akerhaus. After that, we have an open slate until ADR at 535 at the Wave at Contemporary. We definitely want to explore the World Showcase, but what rides/attractions are must dos? What should we fastpass+? We are Disney Visa Holders, so I believe there is a character meet & greet at Epcot, correct?

Thanks in advance!!!

Our son enjoyed Spaceship Earth and the boat ride in Mexico at that age. They might also like the Imagination ride and definitely the ride and attractions in the Living Seas.

Mine are 5 and LOVE Soarin, Test Track and Turtle Talk with Crush (which you don't really need a FP for)!

The Disney Visa character M&G is in Innoventions West.

Get a Fast pass for "Soarin". Soarin is a family ride for sure. Test track is fun also.

I don't know if you're planning 1 or 2 days in Epcot, but if you're doing 2 days, you could FP Soarin for 1 and Test Track for the other, if not, I would try to show up to your breakfast a little early (they usually ask that you check in 15 minutes early, anyway) so that you can ride Test Track on standby as close to park opening as possible and use your FP for Soarin. (Test Track often goes down if it rains and if that happens, you're never given the option to use it for Soarin, just other rides). Depending on the time of day, you may need a FP for Spaceship Earth since it seems to get lines and you're older one might like Mission Space (may or may not need FP depending on the time of day). Figment or Innoventions is a good alternative for the non-Mission Space riders. Turtle Talk is a must do, but usually doesn't need a FP.

I don't know if you've heard of this site or not, but there are free, very helpful and detailed touring plans and FP recommendations for all the parks available on this site: www.easywdw.com, just look under the cheat sheets on the right hand side of the site--there's one for each park.

Best of luck with booking your fast passes--hope you get all the ones you're looking for!

Your kids would enjoy getting the passports and taking them to each country. It's a great souvenir. Have a great time!

There is Spaceship Earth, The Energy ride with Ellen and rides like Nemo and Figment that everyone can do. Also the countries. There is a ride in Mexico that all can do.

If you don't want to split up then TT, Soarin, SOAT, and MS are out, due to height restrictions. That leaves SSE, the Nemo ride, Turtle Talk, LWTL, Ellen's Energy Adventure, and JIA in FW. Use the thread that Mesaboy referenced to prioritise.

There are quite a few meet & greets in the world showcase as well. Aurora, Belle, Snow White, Pooh & Tigger, Mulan, Donald Duck, Jasmine & Aladdin. And shows like the Japanese Drummers, Chinese Acrobats, Italian Juggler etc....

As far as FP+ goes our DD wasn't 40". We split up for some of the FP+ - I took her shopping while DH and DS did Test Track for example.
