I need a restaurant at Epcot. A nice meal, sit down.
A friend just ate at LeCellier and said it was average at best.
WE had ADRs for that.

So now I am rethinking....

Where should we go?:confused3

We ate at LeCellier for dinner and Coral Reef for lunch. We enjoyed both! I say keep LeCellier though. Let me also say that these are the only 2 restaurants we have eaten at in Epcot though. But, like I said we liked them both! The Coral Reef lunch was a nice break from touring. We had an 11:30 adr and sat on the top tier and could still see the tank fine. However, I would like to sit closer next time. Because you are traveling with children, they might enjoy the Coral Reef. My children also loved LeCellier too though. Sorry, I guess I am not much help am I?

Le Cellier is fantastic. Don't cancel your ADR just yet! I've been there 3 times now and have consistantly been impressed.:thumbsup2

But, if you really want to change your mind... I also really like Chefs de France for a nice sit down. San Angel is also very relaxing.

For fun, I'd go with Biergarten or Japan. But, if I chose one besides LeCellier it would be France. Happy Planning!:goodvibes

Coral Reef and Chefs de France were both miles better than LeCellier. Marrakesh is also really good if you like that kind of food (plus they have entertainment!).

If you really want to try LeCellier for yourself, I'd keep the reservation. Quality there (like most Disney spots) is hit and miss and you might get a hit when you go.

We like Bistro de Paris for dinner.. Always have a lovely meal there... We like Rose and Crown also, and usually do that for lunch.....enjoy it there. We use to love Teppanyaki, but have not tried it since they changed the name and redid the restaurant, but will again our next trip.. These are the restaurants we do consistently...

At the Boardwalk, we always do Spoodles... we love it there.

Le Cellier is NOT just average at best. Sorry to your friend, but it's much better than that. In fact, not only do they have outstanding steaks, their BURGERS are the best I've ever had anywhere. And it's really cool in there, no literally, it's really COOL in there - as in, after walking all over Epcot sweating your buns off, Le Cellier rocks.:thumbsup2

My other favorite is San Angel Inn. It gets knocked around alot on these boards, but I LOVE it. The food is outstanding if you like Mexican and the theming is the best, maybe in all of WDW - gotta love those tables near the Rio Del Tiempo especially.

You;ll see a lot of conflicting reports regarding Le Cellier. I don't love it- i think its eh but tons of people rave that it is the best. We just got back this week and I had a fabulous meal at Tokyo Dining - terrific esp if you like sushi.
