It will be me, my Husband and our Four (but almost five) year old. We usually do Coral Reef, but we are kind of bored by it so we want to try something new. Other than the Bergartden (SP) at Germany and the place in China, we don't know anything about the other restaurants at Epcot.

So here are some that looked good to us for dinner. Do you have any opinions or favorites? Thoughts?

1. Le Cellier
2. Mitsukoshi Teppanyak (I'm not huge on Sushi but it looked like they had other stuff. Hubby likes Sushi)
3. Rose and Crown

Anything else we should be considering?

Here's another vote for Le Cellier! We also like chefs de france, but we've only had lunch there, and I really liked rose & crown the one time we went there....

Just ate at Rose and Crown last week for the first time...loved it all, the atmosphere, service and food. Tops my list now! We are doing LeCellier on our next trip in Jan.

Another vote for Rose and Crown! Loved the fish and chip

Le Cellier at first place, Tepankyaki and then Nine Dragons, really do not like R&C at all.

Morroco also gets very good reviews, but I haven't been there yet.

Loved Morocco, but my fav is still St. Angel Inn in Mexico. We'll be trying Le Cellier on our next visit! :thumbsup2

LeCellier....LeCellier.....LeCellier!!! :thumbsup2

San Angel Inn (just for the ambience)

The only World Showcase restaraunt I've tried that I didn't like was San Angel Inn (cold, bland food, with very poor service--not just once, but three different times). The only ones we haven't tried are in China and in France.

We love Le Cellier (their steak with mushroom risotto is wonderful as is their tomato stack appetizer). Your little one would love their adorable chocolate moose.

We also like Rose & Crown (get an ADR around 7:30pm, ask for a patio table, and the waiter will usually time your desserts to coincide with Illuminations). Their soups are wonderful, so is the cheese plate. I like their steak almost as much as Le Cellier's. We've always received the most attentive, friendly service there. If your husband drinks he can get a flight of beer or ale there also.

Marrakesh is different and also has good food. Your little one will enjoy the belly dancer. Be sure to ask for a table close to the show.

We ate at Tempanyaki last month and enjoyed it. We were on the DDP and sushi is not included in the dining plan, but I paid OOP for it and it was very good. There were two little kids at our table and they had fun watching the chef prepare our food. Food was very good, by the way. There was one man there (the kids GF) who looked very unsure at first, but then cleaned his plate by the end. Some of the chefs are very into it and some are not. Ask for a female chef. There was one at the next table that was VERY good. She had that whole table laughing.

Italy was OK, but tables are close and we had a very snobby, unattentive waiter.

If your daughter is into the Princesses Akershus has very good character interaction. I've had breakfast and dinner there and had a good time both times. Breakfast is just your regular breakfast foods. Dinner there is a little cold buffet, then you choose your entree, and then they bring out a dessert tray for everyone to share. They have one entree that is very much like our meatloaf and it was very good.

Another vote for Le Cellier!

R&C is good but I've eaten at so many English/Irish pubs and it's probably middle-tier. Also, I'll give a plug for Chefs de France.

Marrakesh is a favorite because of the atmosphere and the belly dancing - the last time we were there the belly dancer was one of the most bee-yoo-tiful women I have ever seen (next to my wife of course!). The kids - unless they are shy - love dancing with her. But the food there - while good - does not compare to a "real" Morrocan restaurant; it was a little on the bland side.

Hope this helps!

The Japan restaurant is not so much a "sushi" place as it is a Bennihana type place. A knife show along with the food. It was good (not great) but might be a good choice with a 5 yo. Steak, Shrimp, Chicken etc.

I really enjoyed Chefs (in France). Great food, nice atmosphere.

hound :)

Le Cellier is mighty fine.
Chefs de France is also very good. Try the Onion Soup--it is fabulous.
I also like San Angel Inn and I think Tempura Kiku is good.

We love Germany's buffet. The music kept the kids happy and the food was really good as well as the service. It tops our list. Atmosphere is just awesome I thought.

Love the Fish and chips at R&C.

Italy was OK but the tables are close and sometimes the service isn't the best.

Morrocco is one we will not do again. The spice they used wasn't our thing but it wasn't their fault. Just not what we like.

Of the 3 you mentioned, I can only comment on R&C. We love it! Fruit & cheese plate, fish & chips & dessert(any) are some of my favorites. My family has tried a few of the entrees & never been disappointed. :thumbsup2 Service has also been great. :cheer2:
I like Coral Reef too but I never get tired of R&C.
Thanks for posting this question, we're also thinking of trying Le Cellier next trip.
Have a great time!! :wizard:
