I'm looking for information on entering Epcot on EMH from the international gate.

Do the guests entering at the front gate seem to get to the 'power' rides first (TT & MS)??? Or is there anyway to get to the rides at the same time as the guests entering at the front gate?
Thanks!!!

Bumping! I would be interested to know too!

In December 2003, we stayed at the Swan and entered Epcot at opening through the International Gateway entrance (note: it wasn't an EMH-type day). By the time we got through security and walked at a very fast clip to TT, there was already a long line, 45 minutes or so. We got fast pass and returned an hour later with virtually no wait. In that hour, we did Spaceship Earth, Journey Into Your Imagination, Ice Station Cool, and a little shopping to boot. Come to think of it we might have gone on the Living with the Land ride also in that hour.

I guess things could be somewhat different on an EMH morning, without the non-resort guests streaming in through the main gate. I would say that it must be a shorter walk to TT/MS from the main gate. Or they opened that gate just a tad bit earlier.

I am not positive, but I'm pretty sure that the "rope drop" happens at the same time at the IG as it does at the main gate. So yes, those at the main gate are closer and have a slight advantage in getting to the TT/MS area.

It should be added, though, that the opening of MS changed the dynamic quite a bit, since the crowd now splits rather than all going for one attraction. And when Soarin' opens, it will really break things up as the crowds go to 2 opposite areas in FW.

Thanks for the thoughts... I never considered how soarin' would affect the crowds...

I have to admit... I'm like a little kid and always try to be first in line for the biggest ride of the park!!! What can I say...I guess everyone is a kid at WDW!!!
