Epcot resort to WL

What would be the best (or most enjoyable) route to take from an Epcot resort to WL using Disney transportation? We did this years ago and I know it took a long time but I don't recall how we got there.

1) Walk (or boat) to Disney Studios then bus to WL

OR

2) Bus to MK then boat (or bus) to WL

or walk to front of EpCot (would need a ticket) and then take bus to WL

We usually take the bus to MK, then take the boat. Also used this method to go to FW for HDD.

Thank you all for your suggestions. I think MK to WL might work best for us.
